There are studies that show that after many years couples start looking like each other. Without realizing it, they start to smile the same way or make sinikar facial expressions, and they work the same muscles in their faces. Over many years, their smiles or lines in their foreheads can be almost identical.

That's how humans work. The same thing happens with close friends. You develop similar senses of comedy and interests, and when you're on the fence about something, your friend/partner can make it so you jump on the same side of the fence they are. We're socially influenced creatures. In a way I see it like equilibrium. Sort of.

Me and my boyfriend of almost 2 1/2 years joke that we have "twinsie telepathy" because we know each other so well, we can practically read each others minds. It's scary how much you become like somebody when you're with them for a long time. I also read somewhere that when you spend a lot of time with somebody, your nervous systems somehow synch or something like that. It was really interesting.
