+170 It makes no sense that politicians changed the definition of pregnancy, a biological occurence that can only happen for a short period every month in a woman and that we did not create, and say that it actually happens two weeks before the woman conceives just to make it harder for women to have an abortion, but that they won't change the definition of marriage, a concept that we created and could redefine any time, to benefit the rights of homosexuals. Amirite?

I think a lot of people are blowing this way out of hand. Doctors have used the date of a woman's last period to estimate how long a woman has been pregnant for decades. A woman is not pregnant before she conceives. The doctor uses the date of her last period to figure out an estimate and then tells the woman it could be two weeks to a month off from her actual conception date. It's the easiest, although not most accurate, way to judge how long she's been pregnant because few people ovulate exactly 14 days after their period, but the vast majority of people cease menstruation once they become pregnant. The definition of pregnant has not been changed. And letting me marry my girlfriend won't even redefine marriage. It would just extend it's definition. It would still mean the same thing.

You're an idiot. Being 12 weeks pregnant means that you have approximately a 10 week old fetus. Everyone knows that. Most women however, havent a goddamned clue when they ovulated, but they know when their last period was. It's easier to get a due date that way.

I'm pro-gay marriage and pro-choice, but I can see why someone would be pro-life even though I find it stupid. The only misconception with abortion is when a human is a person.
