+156 It's a beautifully ironic, universal win that after an earthquake, people use the term "shaken up" to describe their emotions. amirite?

Irony is when you expect one thing to happen but the opposite actually does. When talking to somebody who was in an earthquake, I would 100 percent expect them to say shaken up. I am almost sure that at least 75 percent of people would come up with that ezmode pun. In my eyes, it's actually an ugly, expected, universal fail that people aren't original.

I am filled with the deepest remorse that my vocabulary selection appeared imprudent to thyself.

Thank you. My family has been suffering deeply because of this whole situation.

Not ironic. More like it seems appropriate.
