It's hard to say hypothetically, but I'd like to say I'd understand. I still think I'd be a little hurt, though, wondering if I hadn't been good enough.

My sister found her birth parents when she was 17, and she now visits them a lot, but she still considers our parents her real parents. Her birth parents are really cool and we love to spend time with them, but it doesn't make her any less a part of our family.
