We should shoot water at the sun to stop global warming, amirite?
by Anonymous11 years ago
We don't have an infinite water supply, sorry to ruin the fun
by Anonymous11 years ago
We won't need that much according to this water company.

@MusicIsAGift There are these new things called jokes. It's where you say something completely outrageous, but you aren't serious, therefore it's funny.
They're pretty cool, you should look them up sometime.

I understand it is a joke, it may have helped if it was under the fun/jokes.

You can't add posts to things on non-touch mobile

The fact that a lot of people have favorited it and that it was such a ridiculous idea could have tipped you off.

fool-proof.

I am almost certain that shooting water at the sun would make it worse. The increase in water would increase it's mass, in return increasing the gravitational pull on the plasma. This would result in the sun increasing it's rate of fusion to maintain an equillibrium between gravity and the outwards radiation pressure, therefore releasing more energy and making the Earth hotter.

It's not ruined, science makes everything fun.

Wouldn't the water evaporate before it even hit the sun?
by Anonymous11 years ago
Yes, but technically it would still be water, and it would still reach the sun because gravity would be pulling it towards the suns centre.

Oh! Okay, that makes more sense :D

Vsauce, Micheal here.
by Anonymous11 years ago
I don't know what that means
by Anonymous11 years ago
Go on YouTube and type in "vSauce." He talks about this in one of his videos.
