Peacefully in my sleep. But I think that's really the generic response

I don't want to die in my sleep because then I couldn't say goodbyes.

It's seems like such a simple way to die, I want mine to be quite unusual somehow.

Loss of oxygen. A lot of people don't realize that loss of oxygen and loss of air are completely different things. You keep breathing like normal and don't suffocate at all, but you just slowly pass out. Sounds peaceful.

@abbeyd Loss of oxygen. A lot of people don't realize that loss of oxygen and loss of air are completely different things...

I'm no scientist, but I feel like even though you would still be doing the act of breathing, it would still feel like you arn't. It might cause you to try to take giant breaths like when you are on top of a mountain. As someone with asthma, I would very much not enjoy that since I kind of know what its like.

The thought of dying in my sleep makes me feel uneasy; just the thought of going to sleep and actually not waking up again makes me uncomfortable, especially now when I'm lying in bed about to go to sleep. I feel like the best way to really die, though it's unrealistic, is by the Avada Kedavra curse; you just here the spell and see a green light coming your way and that's it you're gone.
But when it comes to reality, idk; I suppose I guess I'd like to be really old and just sitting there and suddenly I die for reasons unknown. Or or an even more realistic way; while being unconscious and undergoing a surgery, at least I would've said my goodbyes.

I'm sort of afraid of the thought of dying so yeah idk idk

I agree with what you're saying but I'm not afraid of dying. In all honesty it's the only thing in life that is definite.

Falling out of an airplane!
It would be an amazing last minute or two and the end would be totally painless and hopefully some kid would be scared shitless by finding my body in his backyard

Funny you should say that - I consider that the absolute worst way to die. The whole time you're falling, all you have to think about is the fact that you're about to smash into the ground and die. I doubt that would be painless, but I don't know how quickly you'd die, so I could be wrong.

Too intense of an orgasm seems pretty good.

Probably a bit bad at first, but the knowledge that I literally made someone cum so hard they died of euphoria would make up for it.

This reminds me of a conversation my dad and I had. We'd just read a thing that said only suicidal people had thought about how they'd end their lives, and I sarcastically said, "Guess I'm suicidal then 'cause I'd take sleeping pills," at almost the same time my father said, "That's bullshit. I'm fine, and I know I'd shoot myself in the head."
Then we went on to discuss how everyone knows how they'd do it because it's just human nature to consider how you'd go about doing something once you're made aware that that something exists. It's how you think you know what kind of parent or police officer or gourmet chef you'd be, even if you've never had a day's experience at any of those things.

Dying in my sleep.

It entirely depends on the situation for me.

I've heard drowning is one of the more peaceful deaths. Of course nobody can really know. I do know that I'd rather not die in a fire.

I feel like drowning would be agonizing. It can be painful to ever hold your breath for long, let alone having to try to fight your way above water.

i once read an article that said drowning hurts alot at first, but once you begin tonpass out, its usually very calm and relaxed. i dont know how they came to this conclusion. but it was really interesting!

I heard that it hurts in the very beginning when you're fighting it, but if you give into the sensation the pain dissipates. It's agonizing at first though

I would personally like to be publically executed by sword through the heart, my last words sending millions of people in search of my wealth, starting a new era of pirates.

for me, carbon monoxide. Turn on the car in a closed garage, listen to the radio, fall asleep, and just don't wake up again.

I personally would like to sacrifice myself to the greater good; taking a bullet for someone, pulling someone out of a burning building, etc. It is perfectly normal to think about the manner in which you'd like to perish, but as The Spill Canvas so eloquently said it "we all flirt with the tiniest notion of self conclusion in one simplified motion. You see, the trick is that you're never supposed to act on it, no matter how unbearable this misery gets."

That wouldn't work because your body weight would pull your hands off with your arms. I still preferr jumping

Pozs avatar Poz Yeah You Are 0Reply

death for me - not an option. What I am is my in mind. body is just the clothing i wear while her. I need a new body and science is almost to the point of producing robot or never dying . I put in my order tall thin long blonde hair

Hanging is supposed to be one of the least painful ways to die. Especially if they drop-hang you, so your vertebrae snaps and you black out before you feel anything.

I've imagined handcuffing myself to the bottom of a pool ladder and drowning that way, without the temptation of surfacing for air. I don't know if it's a good way to die, but its practically fool-proof

Overdosing is probably the most cowardly way to kill yourself, but there's rarely ever honor in killing yourself

But I woul hate to be the person who finds the body just hanging there. Yeah the handcuff sounds quite good with how you won't be able to fight temptations.

Personally I don't think any form of suicide is cowardly, many people disagree with me on this. But the fact that they just can't go on with their life and they've already tried fighting as much as they could, it's not cowardly. It's their life and they deserve peace.

Pozs avatar Poz Yeah You Are +3Reply
@Joe_Larson except it's not only their life; they leave other behind to suffer for them

Yes, I know that. That's why many people who are sucidal hold on for longer. But in the end if it gets to much for you and you're sticking it out for someone else and you're not happy with your life or what you've become, it's not cowardly. They've already though of what's going to happen when they do it, it's just not out of the blue. It's not an easy discision. ( sorry I just have a strong view on suicide)

I see suicide as unfortunate, but I don't blame the victims. They are victims of their own hopelessness, but I believe there is always hope out there for those who wish to find it. Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem (cliche, but that's how I see it)

It's not their fault they lose hope. They could have a family that is very abusive or just never brought hope to their child. It's more about happiness and self esteem. Yes of course there's hope for everyone. But sometimes it's not as easy as you think, it's not suppose to be easy I know. But I do agree it is an unfortunate circumstance.

Suicide

@Catbaaned Suicide

Yeah. But which method? I would hate to hang myself. I'd rather jump of a tall building

I would make a noose out of razor wire, put it around my neck and climb onto a chair. Then, I would glue my hands to my head and jump off. It would cut my head off with my hands still attached and look like I ripped my own head off. Cool, huh?
