I thought it was more guys who are stereotyped as shallow? Looks seem to have a higher weightage when guys calculate the awesomeness of a girl, but girls are more emotionally inclined.

Never heard girls being stereotyped as shallow. Normally, guys are stereotyped to be more shallow... because they statistically are more "shallow."
