+77 A broken clock could be right 2.00274 times a day (on average) because of daylights savings making the time go back an hour 1/365 of the time, amirite?

What, it's featured.... Has a bad feeling about this :P

Because someone's probably gonna prove me wrong by making some insane but true mathematical calculation. Oh brother :P

How'd you know? The clock is right two times a day, every day, unless it's stopped between 2:00 and 3:00, in which case there's one day a year it's right three times, and one day a year it's only right once. Still, the average of 1 and 2 and 2 and 2 and 2 and...and 2 and 3 is 2. Even if the clock is fixed between the beginning and end of DST, that number is not a possible average (I checked using an Excel formula). So, no, sorry. Clever, though! **tl;dr Clever, but math says no.**

Yeah, I thought of that right after I posted it, the fact that even though it might be right 3 times a day it will also be right only once a day, so it kinda balances itself out.

Well it could work if it stopped at 1:58a since the us changes it from 1:59a->3:00a at spring and 1:59a->1:00a at fall. (2+2+2+2...+3)/365= [(2x364)+3]/365= 2.0027397260273972602739726027397 hmmm whats that excel formula?

You're right, I made a mistake. I was thinking the clock jumped from 2:59 back to 2:00, which is wrong. Well done!

Thanks :P I love you amiriters for admitting your mistakes :D

Didn't do the math... But I'll agree anyway because I'm lazy
