It's hard to dismiss nature as a cosmic accident when you are surrounded by its splendor, amirite?

Calling it a cosmic accident is hardly dismissing it. Really, the fact that something so beautiful came out of spontaneity is amazing in itself.

It makes it so much more astounding and incredible to think of it that way.

Somewhere along the line, there must have been an 'accident', be it to make the universe, God or whatever made God. Even I God made Himself, that initial movement to bring himself into existence was spontaneous because it did not come from something already in existence.
The further back along the line of creation you go, the more incredible the accident seems, so I'm going to go with something happened to make God make Himself, then he made the universe via the big bang.
