TV shows almost never have characters with the same name, even though it happens pretty often in real life, amirite?

Why would they purposely complicate things? Then characters would constantly have to specify which person they are talking about.

There's a Jonathan HCua, Jonathan Loke and Jonathan Boey in my class. My English teachers says they shoulg start a law firm called Jonathan Jonathan and Jonathan.
