+120 Sometimes we're shocked to see we earned better grades in the hard class then the easy class. There's probably a simple explanation though. Maybe because the class was harder, we put more effort in that class than the easier one, which makes the resulting grade make more sense, amirite?

I can always tell roughly how much effort I put in to something and how well I did so my grades almost never surprise me. If I focus a lot more on the harder course and I feel like I understand it well then I'm obviously going to expect a better mark.

Sometimes the easy courses just have less assignments given, so if you do poorly on one of them, you can't bring your grade up that much.
