when has anyone said that being introverted is bad?

My mother. "It's not normal" She talks shit about my sister for being introverted, and it makes me want to punch her in face.

I've never heard anyone outright say its 'bad', but people tell me all the time to talk more or ask me why im so quiet. It's like they just dont understand that its just the way i am.
