+22 It must be easy to play a chromatic scale on a trombone, amirite?

Yes and no. Starting from low a flat going up one octave it's: 3rd position, 2nd, 1st, 7th (this is REALLY far out, and impossible unless you have longish arms), 6th, 5th, 4th, 3rd, 2nd, 1st (or 6th), 5th, 4th, 3rd, 2nd, 1st, 3rd. So the positions go in order, but you still have to remember where to start. The hard part about the trombone is that it's like the violin. If you push the slide out too far (or not far enough) you'll end up being either sharp or flat.
