Define meme. Popular memes are obviously overused because they're popular, but there's a shit-ton that never see the light of the facebook wall that float around other parts of the internet

A meme is any idea that can be transferred from brain to brain via any of various communication methods. If you dislike memes, I have no idea why you would ever visit amirite.net, where every post qualifies as a meme.

Amirite is not about memes though. It was never a website created to use shitty captions over shitty drawings. It's a website based around opinions not overused and unthought provoking humor. Memes aren't what this website is about. To disagree means you don't give a shit about the hardwork that Ant, the mods and the serious users have put into making this site different than all the other crap that's out there.
