+96 If there is a tie in the electoral votes for the presidency, the president is selected by the House, and the Vice President by the Senate. In the case of our current political atmosphere in the USA, the Senate being dominated by Democrats and the House by Republicans, if there was a tie, our Vice President would end up as Biden and our President as Romney. While this could potentially be utterly disastrous, it would still be very interesting and slightly amusing to witness, amirite?
