+113 Not all conservatives are close-minded, fox news crazed, jack asses with no respect for women or minorities, and not all liberals are young stoners who want to take advantage of the government. Each side believes anyone on the other side is as crazy as the extremists; however, if they took the time to listen, they could compromise on a few issues and actually get some work done, amirite?

I agree for the most part, it's just there are some issues that are always going to be too wrong to compromise on to one side. It's kind of like Christianity. Most of the Christian churches are almost identical in beliefs, but there are small ones that are compromiseable. (is that a word?)
