The gist of it is, I've basically compared myself to the letter Q and the way it's dependent on the letter U--while it can be a hindrance at times, it also has something that no one else has (and for all we know, maybe the two are best friends and have a companionship that no other letters could even imagine). So I basically connected that to my being a bit of a social outsider. I guess now that I think of it, it's the opposite of what you're saying though... :P (I'm the above anon, of course.)
