+70 Some people claim that the reason we have been experiencing all this gun violence lately is because we have pushed God out of our schools. Really, I was under the impression it was because we let anyone with a pulse buy a gun as long as they don't have any felonies, amirite?

Guns aren't the problem they don't kill people. People kill people! Instead of attacking gun rights look at the real problem of our laxed mental health care programs. The tragic shootings are sad and are way to publicized by the media but even with stricter laws criminals will still get guns if they feel the need.

So make it so people who can't pass a mental health test can't buy a weapon. Ignore the fact that the friday massacre was done with a gun he took from his mother.

If it wasn't from his mother or another family member, he obviously planned to do this he would have gotten a fire arm somewhere I agree assault rifles should be off the table for private owners but to have all this uproar blaming gun laws is as rediculous as the media using this tragedy and any other tragedy as a feeding frenzy

My point is that even someone with a mental health issue can get a gun as long as they don't have a felony. I am not attacking gun rights.

Or because we let people who should be instituted walk around on our streets.

It is NOT because of lack of god. And it is not completely because of a lack of gun laws either.

We don't need gun control, we need bullet control. Like, what if each bullet was $1000?

... no
