+16 You're aware that one of the ten commandments in the Bible commands the observation of Saturday as the holy day of rest, amirite?

I was aware of the respect thy father and don't kill and not to worship another or have others worship you like you were god but not that. It seems so petty compared to the seriousness of the other ones hehe No offense to Christians or the Bible.

No, I'm sure most Christians would agree with you considering 95% don't follow it.

In the Bible it says it's a Saturday. Actually it begins sundown on Friday and ends on sundown Saturday. It also say that Israel would keep His day holy, they also celebrate the Sabbath on Saturday.

Considering he deemed the Saturday the holy day of rest, during creation, before any Israelite even existed, one would think that it would apply to all of God's people forever.

His commandments aren't just for them or few, they're for everyone. Because He knew Israel would keep His day holy we should follow in their footsteps, knowing that we are celebrating the right day.

Yeah, that's it what I am saying lol.

Huh.. It says to rest on the 7th day which would be Saturday where I live but everything is closed or has shortened hours on Sunday.. I've never thought about that

The 7th day IS Saturday :)

Um. I can't tell if you're trolling or just misinformed or unfortunately unintelligent. That is definitely not one of the commandments. Not even close

Exodus 20:8 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it." Okay, Anon.
