Someone who is underweight or overweight may be healthier than a person who is at the normal weight and vice versa. There is more to health than the numbers on a scale, amirite?

I agree that this person should do so
but in the process, some become too concerned with the number on the scale
they begin to lose sight that their main goal isn't a change in weight
but a change towards better health and lifestyle

Yeah, in terms of health, weight needs to be balanced with proper diet and exercise, too

@Watchful_questioneer Yeah, in terms of health, weight needs to be balanced with proper diet and exercise, too

the thing is that underweight people may stuff themselves (sometimes with junk food) to gain weight

and the overweight may go on crash diets

when both groups see results (gaining/losing weight dramatically) they're not necessarily getting healthier

that's why I said there's more to health than the weight
as in weight is one of the aspects of health but there are other important factors

Yeah. the post is absolutely right, and it is just as bad to be overweight as underweight. Even being in the middle can be bad if you took really extreme measures to get there

I feel that "appearances can be deceiving" really applies here
