+28 Humans are just biologically-constructed robots, with their own more complicated programming. Our complexity, sentience, and capabilities are just scaled up significantly from robots, amirite?

In order for humans to be considered very complex biological robots, our brains would need to be like very complex computers. I do not believe this is the case for perhaps philosophical reasons. Bottom line is that I believe the universe is analog and not digital. Things in nature do not have discrete values - there are infinite variations that cannot be simulated with a binary machine.

I would think it would be the other way around in since humans created robots and not robots created humans. I'd say robots are digitally constructed humans that are scaled down in those aspects instead because man can't create anything as complex as humans.

I think the order is arbitrary. It's the difference between comparing robots to humans vs. comparing humans to robots, and I don't think it's that significant. What matters is the actual comparison being made, not which one we relate the other to
