+115 You are less bigoted than your parents, amirite?

In general, I think our generation is more accepting of others and their beliefs than that of our parents.

My parents weren't really bigoted, so I can't really give an answer on this post.

Well mine set the bar pretty low for me.

Depending on how you look at it, I'm either extremely bigoted or not bigoted at all. Personally, I'm the least bigoted person I know. There are a few beliefs I absolutely can't stand, but that's because they're wrong. I'd never hate anything because it was different.

I think I'm less bigoted than my mom is towards Republicans and theists.

I used to think we were on the same level until I accidentally let it slip that I don't believe in god, and now at least once a week my mom tries to convince me to go to church to "change my mind."
