+118 It's pretty sad how people are killing themselves for the people that hate them instead of living for those who love them, amirite?

Except that people who kill themselves often believe that no one loves or cares about them

In addition to the point made by Simon, I'd like to add that even those that know they are loved, it can be seen why the hate has more effect. Our good things in life, such as those who love us, are always there, quietly and patiently waiting for us until we, for lack of a better term, make use of them again. Eventually, we become so used to this positive aspect, it unfortunately becomes like scenery that most of us don't really notice or appreciate until it's needed again. Our problems, however, are always shifting, changing and banging at our mind's door.

Some just hate themselves. There can be no one more influential than their own self.

For some people, that's not true. For whatever reason, they let another person's opinion overshadow their own because of pre-established insecurity or low self esteem

No. Some people need killing.

They deserve to kill themselves in a non-painless way after being tormented verbally? Don't be a *your username*
