what Anthony said having two faces would mean being nice in front of this person and mean behind his/her back maybe vice versa too? but being nice in both ways is one face

I'd see it more as common courtesy. Don't need to like the person to be decent.

Yeah I really dont like one of my bosses but of course I'm nice to their face for obvious reasons.Its not being 2 faced, its staying employed.

For me, I'm in a situation where I can't stand my roommate but I obviously have to be nice to her so our living situation is bearable
