There's a girl in my history class who's VERY conservative because her dad is loaded. She doesn't believe in a graduated income tax, she thinks people should all be taxed an equal amount (not percentage, amount)

But then they aren't just repeating what their parents say. Knowing about politics implies that you've formed your own opinion, and while it could be your parents it doesn't have to be. That's how I took the post anyway.
