You mean "but //he's// actually a man" and "it turns [out] //he// actually was a woman." If he identifies as a man, use masculine pronouns for him. It's really that simple.

Referring to a person as //it// is dehumanizing. That is the point I want to make. I thought this post was mocking someone transitioning from one gender to another, I guess I misunderstood the context. sry
