the one with good intention will continue the one who can no longer get something like fame will stop because there's no other motivation

I get that. I think it's good to always be aware of underlying agendas for just that reason. But to me, at the end of the day, if something's going to help, let it help. Be cautious, but don't let pride get in the way.

help is better than no help in that case but a good intention is a great foundation and help with good intentions is best "it's the thought that counts" if someone helps for the greater good for wrong intentions I'm not gonna stop them it's not like I know what the intentions are I can't go inside his/her head but if the intentions are good that's better

Good works are nothing without good intentions. If I'm giving to the homeless only to make myself look good, I am not a good person, and they are getting nothing but material things. No love with it. Although that sounds cheesy.

You might not be a good person, but the homeless are still getting what they need, which I think is the most important thing. Obviously both good intentions and good actions is best, but I wouldn't say the actions without the good intentions are nothing.

I guess so. It just seems so empty though if you really don't care about the people and you just want to look good
