Even though velvet can be any color, you always think of it as being purple, amirite?

I think about red or maroon

most of my velvet is maroon

and then it's purple
I only had one purple

I also think about red velvet cake

I google imaged velvet
and red seemed to come up more

I have seen more purple than any other...so it is purple for me. Nothing feels much better than crushed velvet....................
