My post is sarcasm and exaggeration of course - 2 of the best formats to expose the idiocy of those in charge of things. Anyone who is still in school KNOWS that if you want drugs or a weapon and have the money, you can get it - especially //at// or //in// the gun and drug free zone!

Just had another thought - the gun and drug free zone signs are as ineffective as speed limit signs. If people actually adhered to speed limit signs, states would go broke! THE SYSTEM counts on and thrives on people who will go against laws, codes, rules, signs, etc. because it needs the revenue. Fines and penalties keep the Courts, Judges, and good old law enforcement in business. I know it is a cynical way of looking at things, but it is the reality of the matter.
