1) Schools are failing but because they are teaching rote instead of skill 2) Rote is brainwashing 3) I fear the schools are teaching conservative ideas not liberal ones 4) Ad hominem attacks are childish and unproductive 5) Ad hominem attacks are used because skill is not being taught So you are on point yet I find your generalized conclusion disturbing. The use of "ANY" and the implication that the brainwashing is part of a liberal agenda does not ring true. If anything the lack of debating techniques is a product of misguided testing processes (NCLB) and the content leans right not left.

I think that any young person calling someone a name or think of them as lesser people because they are jealous of something in that person that they don't have or its purely for their own pleasure because in a very sick way most young people who do this gain happiness from it so they continue to take every bit of sadness they have out on that person so that the person their doing it end up trading their happiness with their sadness
