-18 Religious people: there is absolutely nothing (realistically speaking) that will make you even abit skeptical about your beliefs, amirite?

by Anonymous 9 years ago

e.g. any argument , something horrific like the holocaust, scientist figuring out everything about how the universe started (because you can just say God intiated it.), corruption within religious leaders, anything that promotes hate or prejudice ,something that seems wrong to you or is scientifically flawed in your religious text , deprication of women...

Lets keep in mind that we don't know how the universe was created. Where did energy, space, time, etc. come from? We don't know yet.

I wouldn't say absolutely nothing because there could very well be something that shakes the core of my beliefs (not that I want that) the future is a mystery I don't think most agnostics or atheists plan on becoming agnostics/atheists if they thought there was absolutely nothing to make them skeptical while they were theists they definitely found out something that did make them skeptical eventually

Perhaps you don't mean religious people but people of great faith, there is a difference there.
