Are you following CES?

Not really, but I've briefly heard about it.

Anybody who is anybody has revealed their tablets, MSI, Dell, Asus, Toshiba etc etc. Apple will surely come soon.

I can't wait to get my hands on one of these bad boys. Engadget has had me drooling for the past few days. Exciting time to be a college student. Fuck pen and paper notes! Amirite?

Yeah they are looking nice, I hope they do a CES tablet roundup and compare all the ones they looked at. Apple as always is looking to be fashionably late on the tablet scene, but this time i think they may not have nearly the best product.

I remember years ago when someone in one of my classes had a tablet PC. I was jealous that he could write notes so much easier than with a regular laptop.

That was before they invented touch typing then?

If anything we can just shove OSX86 in the best tablet. ;)

In engineering classes you're usually drawing more than writing. It would be near impossible on a normal laptop.

Try smart phones: Windows Mobile, Symbian, Apple and Android will be in more households (or hands) than Windows OS, Mac OS and desktop *nix.
