The majority of sext messages are pictures. Believe it or not, I did a whole research paper on the topic. If you Google sexting all the information will primarily focus on picture messages.

Sexting isn't always picture. also most people are saving their virginity because they want to not because they don't want to be known as a whore. also if you're directing this towards me, you shouldn't be. I don't sext nor did I save my virginity. I just see it from their point of view.

Sexting and claiming to be a virgin are contradictory. It's kind of like people saying, "If it's just oral I'm still a virgin." Though it's not face to face sex, it's still considered a type of sex.

No, sexting has no contact or anything. Its all just..talk. Oral also isn't sex. If you haven't had sex, but have had/performed oral you are still a virgin.

Nowadays virginity is more of a mental thing than a physical thing. Like technically, I've never had sex. My girlfriend and I have oral and sext, but neither of us has a pens so we're physically virgins, but mentally we're not. It varies from person to person, but sexting just to save your virginity seems kind of redundant to me, especially since most people save their virginity for spiritual reasons.

I see what oure saying, but most the people I know who are choosing to save their virginity aren't religious. See oral and sexting as an alternative to sex, as do most the people I talk to.

It's called oral sex, the keyword being sex. The denotation of being a virgin is some who has not been penetrated by a penis, but the connotation is someone who has never had sex. There is more than one type of sex. If you participate in any of those kinds (vaginal, anal, oral, and manual) then you are not a virgin by society's standards. Maybe someone is in their head, but that's usually out of guilt or not wanting to admit that they are sexual beings.

there's also no point in not sexting (im not talking pictures cuz that can get bad) but if u cant get together with someone for any number of reasons ur both horny and u would do it anyways theres no reason not to it's fun
