+272 When you first get college mail, you are a little excited and open each letter and e-mail with care. After a few weeks, however, you start to hate the mail, ignore it, and regret ever giving them your e-mail, amirite?

Yeah, I really try to open those e-mails with care...

I was gonna say the same exact thing!

I REALLY wish the local university would leave me alone. I'm fleeing the state as soon as possible (weather sucks, accents suck, everyone lives on a farm. End minor rant) and the promotional postcard I get every month is only pissing me off.

Nope, hated the mail (physical and digital) as soon as I got my first of each. :P SHUT UP COLLEGES I KNOW YOU ALL EXIST STOP TRYING TO SUCK ME IN WITH EVEN JUST ONE PIECE OF MAIL

My thought process of opening those letters; Is the college in question offering me a scholarship and/or free application fee? >Yes>open ALL the letters! >No>toss ALL the letters!

It's even worse when you are already in college and still get the "it's not too late" mail for 2 months into the first semester.

Haha, this one school wait listed me (wasn't my first choice anyway), but when I started my first semester, they sent me a letter telling me I'm a good candidate... like wtf? I already got into my dream school, go screw yourself!

Someone came into my art class to talk about a nearby art school and we had to fill out this thing that gave them our phone, e-mail, and that sort of thing. Since then I've gotten 2 phone calls asking me if I'm interested in going there and it's really awkward telling them I'm not too sure. I've also gotten a lot if mail and e-mails.
