+13 Student loans are a bummer. Amirite?

It wouldn't be so bad if they were reasonable. Graduating from college and owing $100,000 for just a BA or BS is crazy.

Someone on here once said that if they won the lottery they would go around paying student's loans for them...

Only when it's time to pay them back, just like any other loan.

Not my POV but: students are supposedly going to school...hardship...part time jobs...broke...making sacrifices in order to garner a better future... And by slapping on a loan that takes 10 years to pay off...seems somewhat self-defeating... It's not like they overspent...or due to a gambling shopping addiction...and are justifiably paying for their financial mistakes...

What young people need to realize and dismiss is this media inflicted notion that you are a failure if you //don't// go to college. That's poppycock. But the more young people who realize that, the less tuition money that goes to these crooked universities, so the "alumni" in the media keep pushing that conception.

Well, the media is pretty powerful since almost everyone on AM has this *notion that you are a failure if you //don't// go to college.* Even people who know better won't rush to admit they haven't gone to college. Yes. I agree.
