Most people are complaining about how most immigrants today don't learn the English language like the European immigrants who landed at Ellis island. They came to this land, learned the language, and payed taxes.

Most people don't care necessarily that they're immigrants - we're all immigrants somewhere down the line - the problem is that they're here illegally.

I don't care if you're an immigrant but when there's people who wait YEARS to get to America and then there's illegals who just steal away in the night and take their spot and then don't pay taxes, and use our ER and make us pay for them, and then they expect to get treated like US citizens? Uh no the people who get treated like US citizens are people who are ACTUAL citizens.

Can't we at least give them a chance to become citizens before we push them out? This country is supposed to be "the land of the free" and "the land of opportunity." It makes sense that people would come here for a new start. But by the way we treat them I don't see why they would want to live at all. To be constantly looked down upon must be awfully hurtful to the soul.

^ Wow. Just wow. I suppose that Hitler killed those millions of Jews "fair and square"? And yes what happened to Native Americans is comparable to the Holocaust. Judaism will always survive as long as the Torah exists, but the Native Americans and their lifestyles will NEVER get back to what it used to be. I don't think guns v. bows and arrows is a fair fight. Especially when you factor in all of the European diseases that were killing all of the Natives.

Yea I like how it's the countries that don't have to worry about dirty mexicans coming into their country that are complaining. If you had to deal with them running around all the time you probably start complaining too. But you guys don't have to worry about that because nobody wants to get to your country so bad they're willing to do it illegally.
