She had cancer for a few years and I came home early from school one day because I was sick, and... yeah. It wasn't that big of a deal though, because it was just us living together- my brother was in Iraq and my dad left us a whiiile back. But it was tough.
Nope never have. The only funeral I've been to was my Grandpa's but he was cremated so no body. I have seen pictures online and stuff but that doesn't really count.
I'm pretty surprised by this. I didn't think so many people had seen a dead body... and considering the fact that most people on here are only in their teens or early 20s.
Kinda sad, really...
My great grandma died like 3 years ago. After that, a close friend of our family's mom died.
Those are the only people that I know that have died. Not much, but still counts
I had to go to my grandfather funeral and then to my grandomthers funeral in a matter of 3 days because she died a day after my grandpa from having a shock-induced stroke :( saddest week of my life, I saw both of their bead bodies... :'(
The only person who has died who was close to me was my grandpa, but that was in kindergarden and my parents thought I was too young for the funeral. And I've never seen a fatal accident of any kind. Hopefully things stay this way, dead bodies kind of creep me out.
Saw a guy get hit by a truck and then die. His leg was bent and there was a pool of blood. I'm 13, is it wierd that I'm indifferent to watching people die?
I think that would make better for survival. Emotions control people's actions, and sometimes they do stupid things. Especially when they're emotional about the death of someone close. Indifference is key.
I was the one who found my mother dead... Scary shit right there...
That's awful. If you dont mind me asking, what happened?

do hamsters count?
I've seen a dead hampster too. It was gross.

I've touched one.
I am one.
You're my kind of person.

I've never seen a dead body, since I've never had someone close to me die in my life time
You are lucky
My great grandma is on the verge of dying. She's been to the hospital 3 time this month, and if she wouldn't have gone, she would've died.

Yeah, enough to matter.
yeah I saw my grandpa's dead body at his funeral :(
I drove passed a car wreck once.
The car rolled over and the driver was killed, she was hanging upsidedown in her seat. :/
that sounds disturbing :O

It's sad not weird.
Eh. Wadd'ya mean? Sad like dead cats, or sad like pitiful?
Pitiful...just imagine if everyone felt that way about seeing people die.
I think that would make better for survival. Emotions control people's actions, and sometimes they do stupid things. Especially when they're emotional about the death of someone close. Indifference is key.
On tv or the internet, Or real life?
I think real life or possibley the Interenet.
How does that answer his question?
Oops I sort of misread it o.o face palm
i've seen dead animal bodies, like mice and roadkill and stuff. but i don't think that counts....
Grandfather's funeral.
On TV I did. Hurr~
But, all jokes aside, I've seen them at funerals and whatnot.
I saw a dead young man with a bullet in his chest being put into an ambulance, my mama said it was probably because of a gang fight... scary ):
"I was twelve going on thirteen the first time I saw a dead body..."
I've seen my grandpa, great grandma, a close family friend and my little brother.
Those disagree-ing, You have seen dead body?
At funerals, in car wrecks, that sort of thing.
