Mental health is more important than anything, amirite?

Mental health is more important than it's given credit for, but it's not more important than everything else.

Without a healthy brain life is burdensome and in many cases unlivable, hence the epidemic of addiction.

Agreed, but most people can manage mental illness for longer than they can survive without food, water, shelter, etc. Mental illness claims many lives, for sure, and many many more people live long lives with it.
Mental illness should be treated in the same way as physical illness, yes. But there are things that are more important than being sick.

it's easy to see your arm bleeding but mental illness is not actually a physical object to identify …in this way metal health problems are all powerful and corrupt a well balanced human machine.. your brain is so amazing that it automatically forces you to eat... with mental illness you can die of hunger next to a pile of food …
… sick is an understatement … your body is great at naturally fighting off sickness and germs. what it seems to be bad at is repairing your brain...which you may never seek medical help for because the symptoms can be indistinguishable from normal behavior sometimes

you are right a lot of people live with it and they survive but sometimes they victimize people unknowingly or purposely who shouldn't have to tolerate it

If you're suffering from mental health problems, I'm sorry, I know it sucks. And those illnesses are completely valid. But they're not //more// valid or important than anyone else's mental or physical illnesses. Being sick is not a competition.

...there are invisible physical illnesses too. You can't see diabetes or cancer or life-threatening food allergies or fibromyalgia or countless other physical maladies.
Comparing extremes, like a debilitating eating disorder and a paper cut, will obviously "prove" your point.

I didn't say "everything".

You see, I have this perception that you are fabricating stories to allure individuals into feeling sympathy for you which I see as a disgusting act of manipulation. And for that I demand an apology.
