Also about Life+46People wanting something badly enough would steal if they could get away with it, amirite?
Also about universe, insignificant, and dust+4It's quite odd when you think about how completely insignificant our lives are and how many other people there are on this planet and how our plant's just a speck of dust in this giant universe. It's weird to think how big of a deal we make things that don't really matter at all. It makes you reconsider eating that cupcacke, amirite?
Also about universe, matters, and insignificant+12Each and every one of us is so insignificant and in comparison to the universe, the whole damn planet is incredibly unimportant. So, in life, either cure cancer, end world hunger, establish world peace, and establish friendly contact with an alien race... or have fun in life- no accomplishment matters in the bitter end. amirite?
Also about universe and scale+10This planet is where all of us who ever were lived and all of us who will ever be will live, and we can’t seem to get along. When my microcosm comes into conflict with yours, we fight. Raise this to a national scale and a war breaks out. Maybe, if we reflect long enough on our inconsequentialness, not only in comparison to the immensity of the universe, but also bearing in mind the length of our existence to the grand flow of time, we might avoid the conflict and live in peace...or not because we're all dipshits, amirite?
Also by ilikederpypizza+21We're all just insignificant specs of dust in the scale of the universe and nothing really matters, amirite?
Also about universe and insignificant+146Sometimes you just stand in front of the mirror and suddenly you see your reflection and remember you're just a human on a planet in the universe and you're just a tiny insignificant speck and you'll wonder if there is a god and a meaning to life and if there's life after death...and then you just shrug it off and sit back down at your computer, amirite?
Also about universe and matters+20The people who think that nothing we do matters because the world will one day end and be forgotten have it backwards. When you break it down, "mattering" requires two things (something that matters, and some sentient being for it to matter to). The universe is mostly nothing, with nothing to matter and no one for something to matter to. So, really, we're some of the very few things in the universe that ever can matter, amirite?
Also about universe and dust+432The movie Horton Hears A Who made you think about how the universe is just a tiny speck of dust in a bigger universe, which is a speck of dust in a bigger universe, and so on. amirite?
Also about Life+28We talk about white privilege and male privelege, but we hardly every talk about right privelege, the fact that lefties live in a world made for right handed people. amirite?
Also about universe and insignificant+72It's stupid to say that Earth is insignificant due to size, Earth is home to amazing creatures, finding creatures on par with the complexities of them isn't a walk in the Milky Way, so perhaps not in the entire universe as a whole, but in a large area around ourselves, we're a pretty damn big deal especially for such a small planet, amirite?
