Everyone's the same //in that// they're unique, yes. But that doesn't make everyone the same //overall//

No. The definition of unique is "being the only one of it's kind, unlike anything else. distinctive, special, individual". The definition of same is "identical, not different, exactly alike." Therefore, if everybody is unique then everybody cannot be the same. However you can say that uniqueness is a quality shared by everyone.
