+215On TV, whenever they show friends playing video games someone always grabs the other person's controller in the middle of the game to cheat and they always play it off oh so jovially. In real life, when someone grabs your controller, you go all hadouken on 'em, amirite?

I lived in a small town and in the summer we were outside until 9:30-10. It was so much fun! No being by yourself indoors playing video games.
Different generations enjoy different things
I think we can all agree that freedom is the best. Look at all we've had taken away since 9/11 or how complicated it is to do stuff now

Yeah with my mates we used to build cabins in the woods, have giant paintball fights in the wood (even before youtube or facebook were invented ...), had spontanious BBQ or football games in the neighbourhood. It was always a mission to go by bike find your friends, never sure you'd find them at their home or not.
Childhood without mobile phones was great.

That's bc of kidnappings. Kids couldn't just run anywhere. Not all that safe for adults now either
The crime rate now in the US is much lower compared to when my parents were kids. The reason people feel that it's higher is because when crime happens, there're plenty of media outlets to tell you about it. Now we know how terrible other humans can be.
Times were great, when I was a kid. We had plenty of things to do. We went roller
skating, bike riding played stick ball ,stoop ball. Traded comic books. Went to Coney
Island, And top it off in the evening and go to the ice cream parlor.
Kids today are depressing.
