Yeah and those "bunch of papers and couple numbers" represent your ability to learn lmfao. It goes farther than "how smart you are". It tests your ability to organize, work as a team where required, time management, ability to learn, prioritize and much more. So if you can't do it correctly , you shouldn't become a doctor anyways operating on someone's heart and their life in your hands. If you can't do something basic you definitely can't do something advanced. You must learn to walk before you can learn to run.
While technically not wrong, this is how "Bad boys" are born. Those papers and brownie points are knowledge and thinking of them liks just papers and points doesn't get you very far.
