Winter is a natural disaster. We don't think of it as a natural disaster because we prepare for it and can predict it, but it kills virtually everything in its path. amirite?

a giant rock hitting the earth, tilting it and causing seasons isn't a natural disaster ha... I bet the first winter was a bit surprising

It makes spring renewal possible after hot, dry months. "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven" a smilie

Disagree. Given time, nearly everything will grow back.

No it doesn't.

what is dead does not come back to life. poor analogy

What about hiberating animals and dormant plants?

Winter is not the same as what we are experiencing now.
