I think it conditions us for the work week. Getting up in the morning, spending time working (learning) going home and relaxing for the next day

The truth is public school curriculums are there to turn us into workers. Not better people, not smart people, just workers. It is also a place to peddle one sided history. School does not push intelligence, it pushes patience, compliance, and completion of petty projects. The recipe for workers.
