No, the biggest carbon footprint anyone could have is being a billionaire. Anyway, having a kid, especially one who's well-nourished, kept healthy, raised with care, and given educational opportunities, adds one more potential innovator into the world.

True but the children of the educated and privileged are more likely to have the resources, guidance and opportunity to become said much needed innovators. Yet this is the demographic having by far the least children. In truth they aren't having kids because they are spoiled brats who want to live a self centred hedonistic lifestyle and are trash human beings incapable of giving their life to a child. This is ‘progression'.
