He doesn't have to break the law to abuse power. Since he got a pass by republicans on impeachment his petty revenge has already begun. Since Barr thinks the president is above the law what's next? How about bribery, does that count? Obstruction of justice? Financial fraud? I'm pretty sure those are still crimes. Not that it matters. Republicans would let him slide anyway. They keep harping on the rule of law but just like the deficit it's pure bullshit. We are now an authoritarian nation. If Trump can reduce sentences what's to keep him from targeting political opponents? Now he's got an another crony as head of intelligence. Do you need a road map to see where this is going?

They have done nothing wrong for which to justify removal. Mere dislike for them from political opposition (and yes, that includes the "list" of 2000 former DOJ employees who don't like Barr, nor Trump) does not justify "removal".
