Germany was an economic mess (like we already are from the virus), hitler promised a strong economy, people who fail to see this will have blood on their hands when we see similar happen again

Germany had been an economic mess for a long time. This sudden downturn is in part due to media hysteria and politicians playing on that fear. Over 12K Americans died from the swine flu just a few years ago, but there wasn't anything like the mass hoarding, panic, hysteria right now. Schools weren't shut, people went to work, no one was told to stay home. It crazy now.

exactly, and politicians are setting Canada up to be an economic mess, one never seen before. the media is blaming the virus, Hitler blamed Jews, the fear the media is pushing is to create chaos, if people riot it will give the state all the reasons they feel they need to enact a police state
