In 20 to 30 years there will be nursing homes filled with old guys listening to heavy metal, amirite?
by Anonymous5 years ago
The rap game with my old homies is strong
by Anonymous5 years ago
I cannot wait.
by Anonymous5 years ago
Me either, just listened to Quiet Riot - Metal Health
by Anonymous5 years ago
You have to. There's no other way.
by Anonymous5 years ago
I like this one.
by Anonymous5 years ago
Classic hard rock like Black Sabbath - Pink Floyd - Led Zeppelin
by Anonymous5 years ago
That is the coolest visualization I've ever had!
We can STILL play the band too!
by Anonymous5 years ago
Would we still be headbanging or would we be too old for that?
by Anonymous5 years ago
If I've fallen and can't get up, listen for ‘Help Me Rhonda'' "Help" "Help Me" from my playlist.
by Anonymous5 years ago
Or Balls to the Wall by Accept
by Anonymous5 years ago
War pigs and ironman(1970) by black sabbath are 50 years old as is the immigrant song by led Zeppelin. Hallowed be thy name and fade to black by iron maiden are 36 years old. Nothing else matters by Metallica is 29 years old.
Point is I don't think we need to wait 20-30 years.

They will be directly hooked to VR systems so we're all good.
by Anonymous5 years ago
They? You mean we?
by Anonymous5 years ago
Worse, Coldplay and Vampire Weekend.

Now I totally understand why some old folks are so angry.
by Anonymous5 years ago
Including this guy!!!
by Anonymous5 years ago
The COD lan parties should make old folks homes a bit more lively

And playing video games
by Anonymous5 years ago
Hey Gerald! Mosh in the commons, 5 min. Bring your walker!
by Anonymous5 years ago
I would say that'd be my dad, but it'd be cruel of me to put him in a nursing home.
by Anonymous5 years ago
My assistant who is close to 70 listens to AC/DC and black Sabbath. It still confuses me. "You're old, aren't you supposed to listen to 'old' music?"
by Anonymous5 years ago
Black Sabbath came out in 1970 ,AC/DC was 1973 so they came when your assistant was respectfully 20 and 23. So he is listening to "old" music.
by Anonymous5 years ago
Came here to say this.
by Anonymous5 years ago
Some of us older guys have very eclectic tastes in music. I like a little classical, some jazz, tiny amount of pop but listen mostly to rock/metal
by Anonymous5 years ago
My assistant is a 68 old woman. She is a brassy broad and I hope to be just like her when I grow up.
by Anonymous5 years ago
You're never too old to head bang. You may be too arthritic, but age is just a frame of mind.
SLAYER!!!
by Anonymous5 years ago
Preach it brother !
by Anonymous5 years ago
Already happening lol
Mumzie was bringing my grandfather dinner and heard really low music playing from the outside the house. Walks in to my grandfather blasting rock while connected to oxygen. 😂
by Anonymous5 years ago
Nice ! Rock on grandpa !
by Anonymous5 years ago
Old punk here. Hard to listen when your hearing is shot. LOL
by Anonymous5 years ago
Well hell, that's why you turn it up ! Was just listening to London Calling by The Clash a few minutes ago.
by Anonymous5 years ago
Not 20 years... Heavy metal folks are in their 60s and 70s already.
by Anonymous5 years ago
Some are, I'm 55 so have a few years before I'm ready for a home
by Anonymous5 years ago
And old chicks too !
by Anonymous5 years ago
*Only* old chicks. They outlive us.
by Anonymous5 years ago
We're going to make such colorful old people. The hair, tattoos, piercings. :)
by Anonymous5 years ago
Word
by Anonymous5 years ago
Some already are.
In 20 to 30 years it will be more like grunge and nu-metal.
by Anonymous5 years ago

by Anonymous5 years ago
it'll get worse.
50 years it will be mumble rap
by Anonymous5 years ago
That reminded me about that Revocation song where they are in a nursing home playing. Nice one!
by Anonymous5 years ago
Yup, and I'll still be talking about how nasty Ben Duerr's vocals are
by Anonymous5 years ago
Me for sure.
by Anonymous5 years ago
You know it
by Anonymous5 years ago
Imagine all the stories they will tell about their tattoos.
by Anonymous5 years ago
In 20 to 30 days this post will surely reach 100 comments. Let's go, amirites!
by Anonymous5 years ago
The real fun thing is when NiN's "Closer" is used for Viagra commercials.
by Anonymous5 years ago

by Anonymous5 years ago
I doubt it. How many old people in homes really listen to what they want. Its usually park them infront of the TV and watch whatevers on.
by Anonymous5 years ago
I think some of the heavy metal bands belong in a nursing home already.
