I'm colorblind , yes you can , also there is several different types of color blindness I always try to explain to people that being color blind doesn't necessarily mean you don't see any color , it's just that certain shades are perceived differently So like when they taught me colors in school I know all the same colors and names as you , but found out mine look different to me

You can try to describe it with feelings, for example red can be anger, but also the feeling of the sun warming your skin.
