Seeing that English origins can be traced back to 5th century England I highly doubt any of our words were spoken in 3500 BC Sumer let alone pre Sumerian

It's not about any particular language, it's about the first word that had meaning to it. Mom means mom in any language. Although the sound of the word may wildly differ, the meaning is the same.
